David St. Louis, the City of Stratford’s Director of Community Services, has announced that he will be retiring effective December 31, 2022.
Mr. St. Louis has been an important member of the City’s Corporate Leadership Team since joining the City in December 2007, and has been responsible for the administration and direction of parks, recreation, cemetery and transit operations.
He contributed to a number of significant projects during his time here, including the construction of the new Stratford Transit Terminal, the integration of Parallel Transit with Public Transit, and the development of new recreational facilities such as the splash pad and Shakespeare Park.
Prior to joining the City of Stratford, Mr. St. Louis was Director of Community Services with the Town of St. Marys, and before that, the City of Iqaluit.
“We would like to thank David for his 15 years of service to the City of Stratford, and wish him many years of enjoyment in retirement,” said Chief Administrative Officer Joan Thomson.
