As a convenience to our customers during the lockdown, Stratford Transit will deliver Affordable bus passes to those who are eligible, starting Monday, January 11.
To arrange for delivery of an Affordable bus pass, please call the Clerk's Office at 519-271-0250 extension 237.
Electronic payment through credit card will be accepted over the phone, and cash (exact change) will be accepted upon delivery. Deliveries will be made Monday through Friday, and we will try to deliver by the next business day after the order is placed, whenever possible.
If you live in an apartment and are paying cash or expecting a prepaid delivery, these transactions will occur in the main lobby of your building, in a safe manner. Please wear a mask if able to do so while interacting with delivery staff.
The delivery of passes and the collection of cash payment will take place in person. Bus passes will not be left for pickup, and we ask that customers not leave cash for delivery staff. If you cannot make payment or receive your pass in person, please arrange for someone else to do so, and let reception know when you call to place your order.
This process applies only to Affordable passes, as they can only be purchased through City Hall. All other tickets/passes can be purchased through participating vendors in the City, and some may offer curbside pick-up.
