Back to SearchA section of Ontario Street near the east entrance to the city will be reduced to two lanes, starting on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
This lane reduction is expected to last until early November, and is necessary to allow for the extension of the watermain and storm sewer, as well as some sanitary sewer work, for a new subdivision.
Two lanes of travel (one in either direction) will be maintained throughout the construction, and commercial entrances will still be available, with the exception of the east entrance to the Canadian Tire gas bar.
