
The City of Stratford and Destination Stratford are thrilled to welcome back Doors Open Stratford.
Step inside Stratford’s history, architecture, and culture during this free, community-wide event. Doors Open Stratford invites residents and visitors to explore unique sites, meet the people and organizations that bring them to life, and uncover the stories that make our city special. Enjoy access to buildings and spaces that are not usually open to the public or that normally charge admission.
The 13 participating sites include:
Bonus Tour: A Railway History Walking Tour. Join local historian Dean Robinson for a free 1–1.5 hour Stratford Railway History Walking Tour on Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM; registration is required as space is limited. More information and registration available here.

Copperlight Presents: One Night. One Community. One Unforgettable Experience.
A one-night cultural experience bringing together world music, classical and sacred performance, and an optional three-course dining experience in the heart of Stratford. The evening features an opening act followed by a high-energy Gypsy Kings–style ensemble, delivering the rhythm, warmth, and spirit of Spanish-inspired world music.

You Are Here: A Come From Away Story is a 2018 Canadian documentary directed by Moze Mossanen. The film tells the remarkable true story of how the small town of Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador responded with extraordinary generosity and humanity in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Be prepared to learn dark tales from Stratford’s past as we embark on a walking tour showcasing haunted stories. From a haunted hotel, to a spirit that roams the Avon Theatre to the Stratford Jail – you’ll be informed and entertained on this hour long stroll through the streets of downtown Stratford. Book here.
We’re looking for friendly volunteers to work 3.5-hour shifts between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., welcoming visitors and helping create a fun, engaging experience. Interested in sharing a bit of history? We provide a simple fact sheet. No expertise needed.
