Huron Street and Huntingdon Avenue Pedestrian Crossing Remains Closed

The pedestrian crossing at Huron Street and Huntingdon Avenue will continue to be closed from Monday, November 2 to Friday, November 13 to allow construction work at the intersection to be completed.

During the closure, pedestrians will be directed to use the signalized pedestrian crossing at Huron Street and John Street.

Please follow posted signage and use caution when travelling through the area.

This work is part of the Huron Street reconstruction project, which will continue through the fall.

Paving between Forman Avenue and Huntingdon Avenue is scheduled to be completed the week of Nov. 2-6, followed by some restoration work.

This stage of the project is expected to be wrapped up by late November, weather permitting. The final stage of the Huron Street reconstruction, between Huntingdon Avenue and John Street, will begin next spring.
