Facility Rentals

The City of Stratford's Community Services Department offers a variety of rental halls and meeting spaces, perfect for everything from small meetings to large private and public events. Each space has unique features, and our team is here to help you find the ideal space for your event needs.

Based on the facility, we can provide tables and chairs, room set-up and take down, kitchen facilities and free parking. Please confirm specific services for each facility before booking.

Halls and Meeting Space Rentals

Location: 1 Wellington Street

This historic building features a beautiful auditorium, ideal for meetings, performances, film screenings, cultural events and more. This space offers a unique setting for events right in the heart of downtown.

City Hall Auditorium

This versatile sports and event facility features a newly renovated main hall, various meeting spaces, ample free parking and a range of amenities to accommodate various events.

Agriplex Boardroom

Location: 353 McCarthy Road

This facility is an impressive venue for sports, cultural and private events such as conferences, trade shows, banquets, celebrations and weddings. It features two NHL-size ice rinks, various meeting spaces, a dividable multi-use hall, ample free parking and food and beverage amenities.

All City of Stratford rentals require insurance, a signed rental contract and deposit. Individuals can either purchase insurance through the City of Stratford for an additional fee or provide their own certificate of insurance, up to $5,000,000, listing the City of Stratford as additionally insured.

The City of Stratford has a Municipal Alcohol Policy that applies to all rentals where alcohol is involved.

Outdoor Special Events

Hosting an outdoor event on municipal property? Special Event Permits are required for all organized outdoor events held on municipal property including City streets, sidewalks, trails, parks, open space, and Market Square. Visit the Outdoor Special Events page for more information.
