With Back-to-back OFSAA titles, coached by Ed Price -
The Stratford Central Rams' 1988 and 1989 Senior Boys Volleyball teams, were both provincial high school champions.
The 1988 squad won OFSAA double-A on their home court, becoming the first male team at Central to win an OFSAA title.
They didn't lose a game in the tournament (in fact, they never surrendered more than seven points in any game).

The following year the 1989 team declared themselves triple-A (the highest category in 1989) and won that OFSAA title, losing only one match all season (71-1 overall).

The 1989 Senior Boys Volleyball Team later travelled to Europe together to represent both OFSAA and Canada at the International Sports Federation World High School Volleyball Championships in the Netherlands.

From the Stratford Beacon Herald:

The Aces were known as a skilled team that enjoyed an intense rivalry with the Preston Rivulettes.

They later paved the way for the current group of young girls and women playing hockey in Stratford.

"You talk about pioneers, they are pioneers," Nick Libett said. "I didn't really know the Stratford girls system was called the Aces here, and it's a great tribute to the Aces of the 1930s, and I think they would be tickled pink to be here and see the legacy they have."

Having a major impact on the sport of soccer in Stratford - The FAG Bearings Soccer Dynasty rose not once, but twice.
The first Dynasty in was formed on the morning of April 15th 1899, dominating the WFA league for 7 straight seasons, in spite of their odd team name, "The Sing Sings".

More than 50 years later a second dynasty was formed under the sponsorship of FAG Bearings.
In 1956 Player/ Manager Sammy Cox put together a collection of players including Joe Altenburgh who achieved all star status 7 times.
By 1958, they dominated the 1st division, winning the championships 3 years in a row, marking another milestone.

The FAG Bearings title teams remain to this day as paid up charter members and rightful heirs to one of the most elusive dynasties of sports - the game of soccer, which they played so well.
