Temporary Road Closure June 23-July 7, 2026 - Church Street/Ontario Street Intersection
Improvements to the intersection of Church Street and Ontario/Huron Street will begin on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, and will require a temporary road closure.
Church Street from St. Patrick Street to Ontario Street /Huron Street will be closed to through traffic for approximately two weeks.
Local traffic will have access St. Andrew Street to reach properties within the closure area, including the Stratford Public Library, the Perth County Courthouse, St. Andrew’s Church, Stratford Intermediate School, and other nearby businesses and residences.
Pedestrian access will also be maintained along the perimeter of the construction area.
The improvements include a realignment of the intersection, with curb extensions that will shorten the pedestrian crossing.
