In 2025 the Energy and Environment Advisory Committee working group for Community Education and Engagement set forth to create a guide for Stratford residents on ecological gardening. The concept was to engage with residents and provide helpful information and insight into year-round ecological gardening. In April 2026 the working group launched Nature in the City.

You can view the Nature in the City guide online, or pick up a paper copy at the Clerk's Office, Ground Floor, City Hall, 1 Wellington Street.
