City of Stratford to Launch Market Square Music on Fridays

Starting May 19, the City of Stratford will deliver a community concert series in Market Square on Friday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Produced by Stratford's own Juno-nominated Dayna Manning, each Friday evening will feature a new local artist including Dan Stacey and Kyle Waymouth, Barbara Fulton, Paul Mills and Graham Lindsey, Ben Bolt-Martin, and Lea Keeley.
Dayna Manning will kick off the first evening, and the concert series will continue each Friday until June 23.

Applications Now Being Accepted for Phase 2 of Britannia Street Affordable Housing Project

The City of Stratford’s Social Services Department is now accepting applications for Phase 2 of the Britannia Street Affordable Housing Project.
Applications are available on the City's Britannia Street webpage. Once submitted, complete applications will be reviewed for eligibility, and qualifying residents will be selected on a chronological basis. Apartment units are expected to be available beginning in June 2023.

The City of Stratford and peopleCare Communities continue to collaborate on the planned development of a new long-term care home in Stratford.
Two City-owned properties have been identified for further discussion: a portion of the Grand Trunk site (also known as the Cooper block), or a property on Vivian Line 37 in the north end of the City.

The City of Stratford has named Anne Kircos as its Director of Human Resources effective October 3, 2022.
Ms. Kircos has served as Acting Director of Human Resources in Stratford since April 2021.
