The City of Stratford's Social Services Department is co-ordinating income tax clinics for low income individuals/couples.
To participate, you must have an annual income of $18,000 or less for individuals or $28,000 or less for couples. Disability income received should be included in you total gross income. Please ensure you are within these limits, and note that only current year tax returns can be completed.

Now that the Ontario government’s Stay-at-Home order has been lifted, the City of Stratford is working toward safely re-opening its facilities to the public, starting this week.

The City of Stratford’s Building Services Division is set to launch a new electronic permit system that will make it easier and more efficient to submit and review building permits.
The new CityWide Permits portal, which will be available starting February 16, 2021, will accept submissions for all types of building permits, and will also allow for the electronic submission of heritage alteration, driveway alteration and pool applications.

The Salvation Army recently opened a Housing Resource Centre for residents in Stratford, Perth County, and St. Marys.
The Centre, funded by the City of Stratford Social Services Department, helps people to find and maintain permanent housing, and focuses on individuals and families who are experiencing housing instability, homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness.
