While we recognize the need for outdoor exercise, particularly during the pandemic, we urge residents to please stay off the Avon River/Lake Victoria, as well as the City’s stormwater ponds.These bodies of water are not monitored for the purpose of winter recreation activities like skating, and may be dangerous.

The City of Stratford is continuing its efforts to support local seniors through its connection with the Stratford Lakeside Active Adults Association (SLAAA).
Over the past few weeks, City staff have been communicating regularly through email to provide updates to members on a variety of issues, including COVID-19. Updates are also provided through the www.stratfordactiveadults.ca website.
