On October 29, 2020, Stratford City Council agreed to a three-year collective agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 636, representing Stratford Parallel Transit employees.
The agreement is effective from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022, and has been ratified by members of IBEW Local 636 (Parallel Transit).

The City of Stratford’s Halloween Drive-Through event, scheduled to be hosted at the Rotary Complex parking lot on October 31st from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., will include another mode of transportation for those who would like to enjoy the trick-or-treat experience on a City bus.
Previously, the City offered registration for individual vehicles to attend the event. At this time, the vehicle registration is sold out.

Stratford Transit is pleased to announce the official introduction of the Stratford Transit Tracker, launching on Monday, October 26. It will be available then at https://onyourway.stratford.ca/

The City of Stratford has appointed Janice Beirness as Director of Corporate Services/Treasurer.
City Council approved the appointment at a special meeting on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
Ms. Beirness began her career with the City of Stratford in 2007 as Manager of Financial Services, and has held that position for 13 years now. Prior to that, she was Treasurer at the Township of Perth East.
