Stratford City Council is inviting residents and community groups to share their views on the future of the Grand Trunk Renewal Project at an upcoming special Council meeting.
Delegations will have the opportunity to speak at a dedicated, open session on Monday, April 20, at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers. The April 20 report outlines a path forward for the Grand Trunk site, including a proposed $15 million municipal contribution toward a shared community facility, integrating site parking into the City’s broader downtown parking strategy, and undertaking market sounding to explore opportunities for mixed-use and residential development.
Together, the workshops and public feedback will help Councillors make informed decisions on the Grand Trunk site. Their next opportunity to introduce motions is the Regular Council session on April 27.
