Leaf and Yard Waste

The City of Stratford offers residential curbside collection for seasonal yard waste such as leaves, hedge trimmings, tree prunings, weeds, and yard plants. Yard waste does not include food waste from your kitchen or grass clippings. The City offers residents up to one cubic metre of free compost, subject to availability.

Small materials such as leaves and plants should be placed out in reusable containers with a yard waste label attached, or in kraft paper bags (which don't require a label). Plastic bags are no longer accepted for leaf and yard waste collection.
