Child Care Fee Subsidy

• A child care fee subsidy can help lower the cost of licensed child care if your family qualifies.
• Fee subsidy is available for families who live in Stratford, St. Marys, or Perth County and have a child under the age of 13 who requires licensed child care and are financially eligible.

Who may qualify

• Families who are working, in school/training, looking for work, or have a medical or family need that would be helped by your child attending child care, and
• Are financially eligible, based on income.

Important to know

• Subsidy is for licensed care (not private or unlicensed arrangements) and authorized recreation.
• You will need to provide supporting documents:
• Identification for all family members
• Proof of address
• Income verification (CRA Notice of Assessment line 23600 or Canada Child Benefit Notice of family net income)
• Reason for care (employment, education, medical needs etc.)
