How we honour Dignity, Independence and Support for Persons with Disabilities

The city's program and services are provided in a manner that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities. Our camps are designed to serve children having varying needs and/or disabilities, and our activities can be adjusted or re-structured for campers if required, and if within the professional scope of staff.

Any camper who requires additional supports where a more individualized experience is needed (1 on 1 or otherwise), we invite the camper to come with a caretaker or support worker.

To seamlessly coordinate these efforts, we ask that you please contact Jeff Otten, Recreation Services Coordinator at 519-271-0250 extension 287.
