Anne Hathaway Daycare

We are a child and family friendly licensed early childhood education centre. Anne Hathaway Daycare can accommodate children aged 18 months to 5 years (10 toddler spaces, 60 pre-school places, 26 Kindergarten spaces).

The centre is operated by the City of Stratford. Service hours are from 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding Statutory and other municipal holidays).

Our staff includes an experienced and dedicated team of Early Childhood Educators. We are an inclusive centre, and welcome children with special needs.

Our curriculum is designed to provide activities that focus on many areas of childhood development. Your child will discover:

Healthy snacks and meals are provided each day.

What programs are available?

Full Day Child Care Program

Licensed Full Day Program for children 18 months to 5 years of age.
Centre Hours 7:00 am -5:30 pm, Monday – Friday (year-round).
Our programs are delivered by Registered Early Childhood Educators and provides children with the opportunity to participate in play-based, teacher guided interactive discussions and activities including stories, drama, music, creative activities, gardening, baking and many special projects.
Snacks and lunch provided and prepared on site by staff certified in safe food handling.
Two hours of outdoor play in a natural play space.
A rest/quiet time each afternoon.
Fee Subsidy available to qualifying families.

Before & After School Care

Licensed Before and After School Program for children attending Full Day Kindergarten and who are 4 & 5 years of age.
Child centred, play based program delivered by Registered Early Childhood Educators Program follows Ministry of Education Extended Day Guidelines.
Hours: 7:00 to 8:45 am and 3:00 to 5:30 pm.
Snack Provided.
Full Day Program available during school holidays, PA Days, Christmas/March breaks and PA with advance parental request.
Summer care also available (limited spots) Fee subsidy available to qualifying families.

Nursery School Program

Licensed Childcare Program for children 2.5 and 3 years of age.
Hours 9:00am to 1:30 pm (Monday – Friday).
Participate 2-5 days per week. i.e. Monday-Friday mornings, Mon/Wed/Fri mornings, Tues/Thurs mornings.
Provides children the opportunity to participate in play-based; teacher guided interactive discussions and activities including stories, drama, music, creative activities, gardening, baking and many special projects.
Programs delivered by Registered Early Childhood Educators.
Snack and lunch provided and prepared on site by staff certified in safe food handling.
Daily outdoor play in a natural play space Fee subsidy available to qualifying families.

How do I enroll my child?

Anne Hathaway Day Care Centre uses a centralized online waitlist for enrollment in all programs. You are welcome to add your child’s name to the list by visiting www.oneHSN.com/Stratford/
You will be contacted directly and provided with enrollment information when there is a space available in the program.

Yes. Emergency and flex care is provided on an 'as available' basis. Please contact the Daycare centre for more information.
